The purpose of our Jubilee is twofold:
Since we depend solely on the generosity of our congregational and community members for donations, this Jubilee will be a means for us to expand our sources of donations while providing our communities with fun and fellowship. We hope to collaborate and partner with other community organizations so that this outreach project can be provided for our communities annually as fellowship is good for the soul!
1. To provide enjoyment to the families and members of our community with activities such as water slide, bouncer, carnival games and activities,
classic car show (Pending Agreement)
local entertainment and fellowship.
To provide vendor booths and promote
local farmers and their produce,
local craftsmen and their handcrafted products
and
local businesses and their products and services.
2. To raise funds by offering activities such as:
a food menu including
Chicken Lunch Plate $10 each
PRE-SALE SPECIAL: Buy 5 / $45
Chili & Rice Bowl $5 each
PRE-SALE SPECIAL: Buy 5 / $22
and hotdogs & bun $1;
a Wristband with unlimited access to designated games and inflatables
$10 pre-sale & $15 at the gate;
a Portuguese Horseshoe Tournament $5 entry fee;
a Jail 'n Bail with local volunteer "jail birds" - bail set at $100 or more by
JAIL BIRD;
a Silent Auction by highest bid wins;
ALL PRE-SALE AND ENTRY FEE PAYMENTS

Outreach Ministry Projects
that benefit, revitalize and strengthen our communities and provides the means to save souls and build the Kingdom of God,
such as our
Annual Ka'u Community Easter Egg Hunt
which has been held at Waiohinu Park in Na'alehu in 2015 and 2016
and Kahuku Park in Ocean View in 2017.
We served over 200 attendees each year and provided over 6,000 candy-filled eggs and
over 400 prizes for all age groups from newborn to adult;
4th of July event
as a walking or mobile unit
to share our mission and vision with our community;
First Annual DIA-mend Jubilee
to provide a safe and enjoyable Community Fun Day and Fun-Raising event to raise funds;
Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Giveaway
providing families in need with the complete menu items for a
a hot and nourishing Thanksgiving meal;
Year-round Undercover Angel Project
to provide community members who are in need of
any type of labor assistance, such as yard work, transportation, etc.
and,
Undercover Angel Tree Gift Giveaway
to provide some of our community members with a gift for the Christmas holidays
Praise & Worship Ministry
by giving our team members the necessary instruments and learning skills
to provide 'joyful noise', hula and sign language to our congregation and community members including our aged and retired members,
during special events, outreach projects and celebration of life ceremonies.
Transportation Ministry
by continuing to provide transportation for our
Youths and Congregational & Community members
who are home-bound or have a lack of or no reliable transportation
so they may attend our Worship Service, Special Events and/or Outreach Projects.
Youth Ministry
by giving the youths of our communities the opportunity
to have a safe place to fellowship on a weekly basis,
along with providing them with transportation and a nourishing meal.
