DIRECTOR - GENERAL
Our board of directors is responsible for defining our Ministry's mission and implementing a strategy for how to achieve it. Through a formal process, our board developed the Ministry's mission, vision and Articles of Faith statements and administers oversight to help achieve our goals.
Our board of directors is responsible for managing our Ministry and its Leaders and holding them accountable. We develop annual goals in the form of special events and outreach projects for the year and establishes guidelines so that our Leaders can reach the goals effectively. By approving and overseeing the annual budget, our board is responsible for financial accountability within our Ministry. Part of this includes offering input about the budget and developing priorities for spending, while another aspect is to ensure that appropriate financial resources exist to implement the budget. Financial oversight includes the identification of outside auditors to safeguard against non-compliance with state and federal laws.
Our board of directors makes recommendations about Pastor(s) compensation in the form of salaries, housing allowances and benefits. They also make sure that the Ministry adheres to governing laws while acting in accordance with our Mission, Vision and Articles of Faith.
